今日は、2010年度 第1回 の１－１にとりかかってみた。
●company's sales ってなに？
問題のはじめから、わからなかった。
調べたら、
その企業の販売収益
と書いてあった。なるほど。
●risen much てなんだ？
riseの過去分詞？
rise muchでしらべたら、意味がわかった。
を大きく上回る
と書かれていたよ。
なるほどね。
●we'd better try なんだ？こりゃ？
意味がわからない。
we would better try か？
wouldが省略されているのかな。
would betterで調べてみた。いみわからん。
再度、we'd better で調べてみた。
どうだろうか？
ビンゴ。
したほうがよさそうだな。
という意味のようだ。
ということは、
we'd better try では、どういう意味なんだろうか。
tryでしらべてみた。
やってみる と書かれていた。
なるほど。
ということは、
we'd better tryは、
やってみたほうがよさそうだな。
という意味だろうな。

辞書では、toをつけないで、
advertising で調べたら、理解できた。
